Vlasic Mountain occupies a significant position in the tourist offer of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. With its unique combination of natural resources and geographical position, extends in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and position is such that it is equally distant from the sea and larger continental cities. The nearest town, Travnik, is located at a distance of 22 km. The highest peak of this mountain reaches a height of 1943 meters above sea level, and judging from the altitude, the mountain has a mountain climate. Snow falls every year and lasts between five months and during the summer, in general, rainfall is unevenly distributed during the period. Vlasic plateau is located at height of 1300 m, and is known for its tradition of preparing the Vlasic cheese.
