Day after your arrival to Sarajevo we will start our tour with trip to Herzegovina, southern part of the country. Our first stop is city of Jablanica. That’s a small town that offers a lot of interesting things to see. Then we go to the old city of Mostar where we visit it’s most famous monument – The Old Bridge and many other buildings and mosques. After that we visit the river Buna in the town of Blagaj. This river’s spring is the largest spring of drinking water in Europe. After visiting Mostar and Blagaj it is also planned to visit the magnificent waterfall of Kravice, suited not far from old city Pocitelj, where we also make a short stop.
On the second day of our tour we will go again south of Sarajevo to city of Konjic. There you will visit caves, Boracko and Jablanica lakes and restaurants placed by the river Neretva. On Jablanica lake you can enjoy cruising on the lake and near the town you will get the opportunity to experience rafting on the river Neretva and enjoy the nature.
Third day is reserved for trip to Bihac. First stop will be city of Jajce, a small town in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the mouth of the river Pliva and the Vrbas. We will take you to visit old medieval castle and Jajce waterfall. Before we continue our trip to Bihac we will also visit Jajce watermills and Pliva lake. We plan to stay overnight in Bihac.
On the fourth day we will visit Martin Brod with its famous waterfall, and after that Strbacki buk, another big waterfall which is located near the state border with Croatia. Strbacki buk, in fact, makes several waterfalls, in close proximity of one another. These natural waterfalls attracted the attention of nature lovers for decades, but also fishermen, as well as artists who in the beauty of the Una seek inspiration for their works. On this day we can plan to enjoy in exceptional offer of River dock restaurant.
After one more night in Bihac, before our journey back to Sarajevo, we will visit Ostrozac, located 12 km from Bihac. On our trip we will visit Travnik Old Fort which is one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval fortifications in Bosnia. Besides fort we will visit one of the most attractive places in Travnik – Blue Water. This beautiful and attractive part of Travnik is more like a museum in the open air. Roar of the creek will stay in your ears for days after departure from Travnik, and it will remind you to this beauty that you should experience again.
On the sixth day of the tour we leave Sarajevo and go to a small town of Fojnica near which is located lake Prokosko. That is a unique natural wonder on 2000 m above sea level where you can rent a small cottage and enjoy the fresh mountain air. You will have the opportunity to taste lamb on a spit an even prepare it yourself. This meal is a Bosnian specialty and something you shall remember this trip for.
This day of your stay we will take you to Olympic mountains Bjelasnica and Igman, neighboring mountains near Sarajevo. After visiting these beautiful mountains, we will finish our tour with Sunnyland, the first amusement park in Bosnia and Herzegovina with alpine roller coaster, located on the Olympic mountain Trebevic, just ten minutes from the center of Sarajevo.
Eighth day we will take you to visit Jelen Lake (Deer Lake) situated in a special place Jelah, at the crossroads of central and north-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The complex covers about 20 hectares, which consists of two small lakes, mini-zoo, restaurants and parks for children, and along the lake is a nice path length of about 3 km. This artificial lake is ideal for a picnic and a family trip, a separate area with bungalows available for rent for a longer stay at the lake. Visitors to this site can enjoy the zoo, in which are located: ostriches, peacocks, pheasants, grouse, parrots, deer and other animals.
On the ninth day we leave Sarajevo and go to visit Bijambare, which is the beautiful environment of coniferous forest. Next to the mountain house there is a significant natural rarity Bijambare Cave, which is partially open to visitors. With the ornaments, which are different in shape and size, this cave hall is one of the most beautiful in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After Bijambare we will visit Sports and Recreation Center Ajdinovici located not far from the main road Sarajevo – Tuzla. The complex contains sports fields and other contents in which guests have the opportunity to enjoy is considered one of the most popular resorts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Last day we will tour around Bosnian capital city, Sarajevo. The city has in it’s offer many attractive locations, such as museums, shopping centers, the ZOO, restaurants and a large number of cultural and historical monuments. After visiting Old Town of Sarajevo we will take you to Vrelo Bosne, one of the country’s popular natural landmarks and provides a quiet escape from an otherwise busy city life.
